Ten NGOs have been working with VSC with a concerted effort to achieve the same goal.

VSC provides a solution to the women and children victim as against the uneasiness and inconveniences they face during their stay-period especially at night in a PS devoid of women police.

A direct communication between PS and VSC has been built up without the intervention into the NGOs in case of referral systems.

VSC makes arrangements for long-term rehabilitation for the orphans, homeless, abandoned, disabled, destitute and isolated olderly persons with the help of NGOs.

All types of urgent needs and services (medical aid, trauma recovery counseling, emotional support etc).have been accumulated here in VSC for the survivors.

A specialized unit for investigating women and children repression cases totally supervised and investigated by women police personnels has been established.

. Oppressed women and children have got a platform to restore their rights through criminal justice system.

Now women police can have the opportunity to work in a diversified and gradually expanding work area.

Witnesses also can take resort to the available security services if needed.

NGOs can have an easy entrance in to the territory of 24-hour multi-disciplinery services provided by police.

Court also evaluates VSC as a reliable safe-home for the short term refuge of victims.

Disabled and semi-disabled women and children can reach the emphatic care of the trained service providers of VSC.

A perfect collaboration and co-ordination among VSC, OCC (one-stop-crisis centre), Hospital, Department of Social-Welfare and other service providing organizations has been built up.

Police, NGO mutual effort ensures security and strengthens social re-integration of the lost women and children.

GO, NGO partnership begets a spontaneous recognition of this exceptional endeavour on the part of general people.
